Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL G. McPHAIL Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, June 7, 2000, Muriel G. McPhail left us at the age of 93. Aunt Muriel will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and a brother. Muriel was born April 5, 1907 in Rosedale, Man. She attended Success Business College in Winnipeg and made her career as a Medical Assistant in Neepawa, Medical Arts and the Manitoba Clinic. Muriel was a very independent lady. She spent many happy hours at her cottage on Coney Island Kenora, travelling by bus across North America and several winters in Victoria, B.C. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends at Meadowood Manor, the doctors and staff at the Manitoba Clinic, the Cancer Unit at the Winnipeg Health Centre and staff at Victoria General Hospital. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the Meadowood Manor Chapel, 10th Floor, 575 St. Annes Rd. Interment at a later date in Neepawa Cemetery. In friends so desire, donations may be made in Muriels memory to the Sunshine Fund in care of Winnipeg Free Press, 1355 Mountain Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2X 3B6, Muriels favourite charity.
