Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM MICHALSKI Peacefully after a lengthy illness, William passed away at the Misericordia Place on June 8, 2000 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Carl Henzel and Andy Trachuk. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean; son Brian (Pat) and granddaughters, Sheila and Laura. Brother Peter (Margaret) sisters, Effie Henzel of Steinbach, Kay (Nick) Trachuk, and Ollie Trachuk, all of Vernon B.C. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. William was a very loving husband and a good father. He was a very generous and hard working man. He gave freely of himself and of his time. Family was very important to Dad. Dad loved his garden and spent many enjoyable hours gardening. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. A lucky few of us were able to call him Dad. A husband and father who gave us unfailing Support and all of his love in so many ways. To many others he was "Uncle Bill", "Grandad" Or just "Bill". A cherished husband, father and a good friend. All of our memories of him are fond. He left us with much for which we are grateful. We are all better people for having known Dad. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. Reception will follow at Chapel lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Misericordia General Hospital Foundation, 99 Cornish Avenue, R3C 9Z9, or to a charity of your choice.
