Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA MAY NASON (nee COOK) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Edna May Nason (nee Cook) on Sunday, June 4, 2000 nearing the end of her trip to Fredericton, New Brunswick with I.O.D.E. friends. Left to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory are her children Dawn Elizabeth of Calgary and of Winnipeg, David Gordon and Dianna Lynn; her brother James Gordon Cook and wife Marian of Toronto; her three Nason nephews and one niece and their families and her three Cook nephews and their families. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Roland Wesley Nason in 1983; by her father and mother, Milford and Agnes May Cook of New Liskeard and then Gravenhurst, Ontario; by her brother-in-law Dr. Harold Mersereau Nason and his wife Margaret Ruth of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Edna enjoyed her family, was an avid bridge player, sports fan, I.O.D.E. member, community canvasser, a McGill University graduate, a Royal Conservatory of Toronto graduate and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Private remembrance by request. Heartfelt acknowledgement to Maria, Amy and Ian for their loving thoughtfulness toward their great Aunt Edna and who all three brought her great joy. Should friends so wish, donations may be made to the National Chapter of Canada I.O.D.E., 100th Anniversary Project, 40 Orchard View Blvd., Suite 254, Toronto, Ontario M4R 1B9.
