YVONNE PARADIS Mrs. Yvonne Paradis age 84 years, former resident of Dease Street, went home to heaven peacefully in Thunder Bay on Thursday June 8, 2000. Born and raised in Ste. Anne Manitoba, Yvonne was married there to Frank Paradis in 1941. Together they moved to Fort William in 1941 and have resided here since. Over the years Yvonne enjoyed travelling back to Manitoba to visit with family and friends. Her church, home and family were always very important to her. She is survived by her husband Frank, daughters Jeannette (Jim) Frizzle, Burlington, Yvette (Henry) Siemens, Annette (Rudy) Stemberger, both of Thunder Bay, granddaughter Diane and six other grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters Alice Paradis, Winnipeg, Rita Lessard, Ste. Anne Manitoba, her dearest friend Katherine Kosior and many other relatives. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and two sisters, one granddaughter and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held in Thunder Bay on Monday, June 12, when friends and family will gather for Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patricks Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Allan Savage. Interment will follow in Mountain View cemetery. Prayers will be offered on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. A tree will be planted in memory of Yvonne Paradis Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday June 24, 2001.
