Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD (CRUSHER) HERBERT BAKER With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Don Baker (Crusher) on Wednesday, June 7, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre, with his wife Georgina at his side. Don was born January 1, 1955 at Ashern and was raised in Steep Rock. Crusher was a mechanic in all aspects of his life. He started by fixing his toy Ford trucks as a child, and this talent became his lifes work. Crusher was a happy go lucky guy, and used his talent to make those around him happy. Don is lovingly remembered by his wife Georgina (his sweetie) his sons, Donald, Wesley, Andy and Randy; and his granddaughter Emily; mother May; brother Kern (Joey) sister Fern (Doug) nieces, Michelle, Heather and Lindsay; nephew Dustin; his godmother Dorothy Robinson, and his aunts, many, many cousins, and good friends. Dons memory will always be cherished by his mother and father-in-law, Marion and Gerald Allport and all of their family. Don was predeceased by his father Adolph. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13 at the Faulkner Community Hall in Faulkner, MB, with student Minister Melanie Kauppila officiating. Interment to follow in the Faulkner Community Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at H.S.C.-GD6, in particular Crushers buddy Lydia for the care they all gave to Crusher.
