Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERTE LAGACE Peacefully, on Sunday, June 11, 2000, surrounded by family, Mom passed away at the Victoria Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Aurele and Albertine Rochon; son Leo Lagace in 1989; sister Alida Lavallee and her brothers, Rosario and Ernest Rochon. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Roland; daughter Jeannette (Jules) Rivard; sons, Normand (Nicole) Lagace and Garry (Rachel) Lagace; grandchildren, Julie (Allen) Bouchard, Terry Rivard, Claire Lagace, Nathalie Lagace, Melanie Lagace, Melissa Lagace and great-grandchild Matthew Bouchard. Mom was born May 23, 1922 in La Salle, Manitoba. She married Roland Lagace on October 13, 1942. They farmed in Lorette, Manitoba until 1960. They returned to La Salle thereafter until the present. Mom will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and caregiver who always placed the needs of others before her own. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Victoria Hospital Emergency Department for their care and compassion. A special thank-you to the R. M. of MacDonald First Response Unit for their diligence and care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 14, at 6:30 at St. Hyacinthe Roman Catholic Church, La Salle, Manitoba. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Claude Lagace, Larry Lagace, Norman Rochon, Jean Rochon, Denis Lavallee and Allen Bouchard. P. COUTU & CO.
