JUNE MADELINE WITTICK Peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2000, June Madeline Wittick passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home at the age of 83. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, Allan (Stella) and Dean, grandchildren, Jason and Aaron Hogg, James, Amanda, Jane, Chris and Heather; sisters Leora Hommersham and Bernice Colvin and brother Ray Edmand (Helen) and daughter-in-law Peggy Wittick as well as nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Stuart and brother Murray. Mom enjoyed gardening, travelling, crocheting, music and many other things. Her greatest enjoyment was her children and grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday June 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with Chaplain Gerhard Friesen officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Donations may be made in Junes memory to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Man., R3C 4G2. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Centre and especially the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for the care and kindness shown to Mom.
