MARY MARGARET FLEMING Mary Margaret, formerly of Home Street, Winnipeg, passed away peacefully at Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, Man. on June 12, 2000 at the age of 95 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Howard on September 19, 1994 and by her sister Dorothy and brothers, Jim, Arthur and Edward. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret (Ernie) Hamm of Ste. Anne and son Brian (Betty) Fleming of Calgary, Alta. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brent (Linda) Hamm, Shannon (Rolly) Dornez, Tara (Rick) Levesque, Kevin (Brenda) Hamm, Karin Fleming and Jeff Fleming as well as nine great-grandchildren. Mary was born on September 9, 1904 in Strathclaire, Man. and attended public school in the rural area. She was a member of the United Church and lived on Home Street for over 50 years before moving to Ste. Anne. She enjoyed a successful career with Spencer Garments and was a talented seamstress. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting for her family. Marys wonderful personality and gift for looking at life on the bright side brought her a lifetime of true friendships and admiration from everyone that she met. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Villa Youville for their excellent care and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
