Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN JOHN DALKE Suddenly on Saturday, June 10, 2000, Norman John Dalke passed away peacefully at his home. He was born July 16, 1933 in Winnipeg, Man. Norm is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marion (nee Reid) children, Deborah, John, Kimberley and husband James, and Tamara; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brook, Brenden, Courtney, and Lexy. He is predeceased by his parents, John in 1974 and Emma in 1992 and sister Lorraine Purpur. Norm retired from Manitoba Telephones in 1991 with 34 years of service and was a member of the M.T.S. Pioneers Organization. Since his retirement, he has managed his own successful private accounting and tax consulting business. He was extremely proud of family and his own many accomplishments in concert with them and friends. His love of the wilderness and his and Marions "camp" at Lake of the Woods was well known to many friends and clients. He has always been recognized as industrious and enterprising. He will also be remembered for being there for a friend in need. He thoroughly enjoyed his children throughout their growing and formative years just as he was so enjoying sharing in the fun and enjoyment of his grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with Reverend Ian Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, R3B 2H8 or a charity of choice.
