DAVID ALEXANDER LEES Peacefully, early Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at the age of 43, David passed away after a courageous eleven month battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Barbara Lees; his precious daughters, Catherine, Cassandra and Crystal. He will also be sorely missed by his parents, Bob and Tish Lees of High River, AB; sister Bev (Bob) Williams and their family, of Carstairs, AB; brother Wayne (Bev) Lees and their children of Richmond, VA and brother Rob (Judy) Lees of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Also numerous close friends who have provided immense encouragement to the family and Dave through his illness. The family would also like to thank Dr. Marr and all the staff at the Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit. David looked forward to and dedicated his life to teaching others of the hope held out in Revelation 21:3,4 when mourning, death and pain will be no more. Friends are welcome to the memorial service which will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 at the Assembly Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
