FRED MOSIEWICH It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Mosiewich, age 75, on June 12, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Also surviving are Freds twin brother, Sam (Frances) and sister Mary and their families. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary. Fred spent his working years at the Winnipeg Free Press, retiring to La Salle, Manitoba, where he enjoyed his favourite occupation, tending his land. To all who knew him, Fred will be remembered for his unfailing generosity, his warm hospitality and his willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. A service of remembrance to celebrate Freds life will be held on Thursday, June 15, at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street, Fort Garry. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for the many years of kindness and care given to Fred. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so wish, a donation in Freds memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 200-55 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. R3C 1L8, would be greatly appreciated. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow Yesterday a thousand smiles Today a thousand tears Tomorrow a thousand memories Unlocked from all the years. Yesterday I remember The twinkle in your eye Today, how we long to see Your warm and gentle smile. Tomorrow, Ill see you in dreams Where we can talk and laugh and cry In the land where dreamers dream And time never passes by. Yesterday, long walks through The vast fields of gold Today, your footsteps fade As the air suddenly grows cold. Tomorrow, your smiles and footprints Are everywhere we go Youre in the skies of blue so high And in the fields below. Yesterday wed say hello Today we say goodbye Tomorrow well see your smile Up in the clear blue sky. By Natalie LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860
