Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ROBERT EDWARD KLYNE July 31, 1945 - June 12, 2000 Peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2000 Joseph Klyne (Bob) age 54 years, passed away after a short courageous battle with lung cancer with his family and friends by his side at the Health Sciences Centre. Joseph was born in Thunder Bay, ON and moved to Winnipeg in 1972. Joseph married his wife Mary of 19 years in 1981. He was predeceased by his father Robert (1965) his mother Katherine (1999). Left to mourn son Robert Goheen of Abbotsford, BC; daughter Sarah Beardy of Winnipeg, MB; along with three grandsons and one granddaughter; one sister Beverly Schatz (Ken) of Hardisty, AB; six brothers, Ivan (Linda), Gerald (Shirley) of Ajax, ON, Jim (Shirley) of Prince George, BC, Larry (Wendy) of Sarnia, ON, Albert (Linda) of St. Albert, AB, Cecil (Jenny) of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Mary; five stepdaughters, Rose Marie of Scanterbury, MB, Sandra (Roland), Gail, Stella, Loni of Winnipeg; four stepsons, John, Sheldon (Jessica) of Scanterbury, MB; Dean (Tina) and George of Winnipeg; 18 step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.; mother-in-law Lena Halcrow of Norway House, MB. A special thanks to Lauri-Ann Vestor and Robert Marten and the staff of GH-4 Wing at the Health Sciences Centre for their help and support and for their kindness shown. The family would like to express their gratitude to a special friend of the family Tom Hanaway. Honorary pallbearers are Ivan Klyne, Jim Klyne, Larry Klyne, Albert Klyne, Cecil Klyne, Gerald Klyne, Sheldon Bear, John Bear and George Bear. Pallbearers are Roland Nault, Jim Bear, Craig Bear, Dean Bear, Christopher Sinclair, Michael Sinclair. Prayer service will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Interment at Brookside Cemetery and a reception to follow at the St. Helen Church, 181 Church Ave. Rev. Barbara Shoomski officiating. Knysh Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 582-0973.
