JOSEPH VERMETTE On Tuesday, June 13, 2000, Joseph Armand slipped away peacefully at the Health Science Centre. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife Yvonne of 61 years; his children, Bill (Linda), and Rolly (Lorraine) six grandchildren, Caron (Dave), Debbie (Bruce), Joanne (Darrel), Stephen (Michele), Denis (Lisa), Graham (Karen) and four great-grandchildren. Joseph lived life for his family and friends. Dad will always be remembered by all that shared his life for his great sense of humour, generosity and honesty. He lived each day trying to put a smile on the face of others. Dad spent most of his working years as a welder at Dominion Bridge. Dad was fond of many sporting activities. He enjoyed watching his sons participate in various sporting activities and golfing with his many friends. Dad also curled at various curling clubs for 44 years. The family wishes to thank Auntie Rita for all her help over the past four months and the nurses and staff of GH6 at the Health Science Centre, for their kindness and care given. Should friends so desire donations in his memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
