Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE AUGUSTINE Peacefully, on June 15, 2000, in Villa Youville, Sainte-Anne, Manitoba with her family by her side, Anne passed away at the age of 70 years, after a lengthy illness. Anne leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory: Steve her husband of 50 years; their children, Eric (Gail), Catherine and Monica Augustine; grandchildren: Mikel, Mark, Stephen, Colby, Lisa (Paul), Mark and Derek; her brothers, Joe (Mary) Prokopich, Mike (Rose) Prokopich, and John Prokopich; her sisters, Mary Konechny, Mildred (Ben) Sveinson; brother-in-law, Louis (Anne) Augustine, sisters-in-law, Agatha Zima, Frances, Vera and Shirley Augustine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helena Prokopich; sisters, Julia Korotash and Helen Deacock. Anne was born in Stanca, Czechoslovakia on March 31, 1930. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1938 to Sainte-Anne, Manitoba. In 1950 Anne married Steve and they resided in the Dufresne area where they farmed and raised their family. Anne was actively involved in the operation of the family farm for 35 years. Her other enjoyments were gardening, flowers, and cooking for her family and friends. She was an active member of St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Dufresne. Anne was devoted to her family. She was stricken with Alzheimer Disease quite early in life. We have missed you for a long time as a wife, mother and friend. Anne spent the last seven years in Villa Youville Nursing Home. The family would like to thank the Villa Youville Staff for the care and compassion they have shown Anne. Your kindness will not be forgotten. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Bernadette Catholic Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road, with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Viewing will commence at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens with the following acting as Pallbearers: Annes grandsons, Stephen and Mikel; nephews, Kerry Augustine, Kevin Augustine, Richard Prokopich, and Denis Marcoux.
