ANNETTE FRANKLIN It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the passing of Annette. We take great comfort in the knowledge that her parents Henri and Clara Dupas and her brothers, Andrew Duff, Edward and Ernest Dupas were at the other end of the rainbow to meet her. She is at rest with them and her infant daughter Elaine. Left to mourn with wonderful memories to cherish are her beloved husband Joe; her sons Rob and Wayne along with their respective spouses Sherry and Susan; her daughter Sharon and her sister Rosealine. We miss her immensely yet are relieved that she is at peace. Nothing brought greater pleasure to mom than her grandchildren, Amanda, Meghan, Bobby, Melyssa, Jesse, Samantha, Ethan and Rebecca could not have been more loved. She gave unselfishly of herself to them. She left them a legacy of love. Newest family members, Troy, Kyle and Carina regrettably did not have the opportunity to feel the fullest extent of moms love. Moms generous spirit existed beyond the immediate family. Throughout the years many friends, in-laws and extended family members sought shelter in her home and in her arms. Her job with Child and Family Services brought many new additions to our family. One special family of seven boys touched moms heart and have been a part of her life for over 20 years. Mom was raised in Richer, Man., and moved to the "Big City" of Winnipeg as a young adult. She lived with her close friend Ruth until they both got married. Their friendship continued until Ruths untimely death a few years ago. The family would like to thank the staff of Concordia Hospital, N3 West for their kind and compassionate care of Annette. Funeral service will take place in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Thursday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. A private family innichement at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Well Ma Tante, I got to thinking about you, and looked up your obituary, and I can't believe it's been 15 years. You were always my favorite Aunt, and I miss you. I'm sorry for anything that happened between us all during my youth, and I want you to know that my heart broke when it all went down. In the end forgiveness was given, and we moved on. It never was the same, but I will always cherish the memories of my youth and how loving you were. I wish we could've been closer than we were, in the end, but I want you to know I still think about you, and pray for you. I Love you Ma Tante Annette! - Posted by: Norbert Dupas (Godson) on: Feb 02, 2015
