MARJ KRESHKA (nee TWISS) On Friday, June 16, 2000, Marjorie F. Kreshka (nee Twiss) passed away with her family at her side after a short battle with cancer. Marj was born in Cypress River, MB. She married George Kreshka on September 9, 1941 just before George left for an overseas assignment. Upon her husbands return in 1945 they settled and started a family in Winnipeg, MB. She was a loving, generous wife and mother who always knew how to console us. She will be deeply missed by husband George; daughters, Rosemary (Robert), and Barbara (Quon), and son Ron (Wendy). Nana had a special place in her heart for her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two sisters; two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral graveside services will be a private family arrangement. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses at 937 Gateway Rd. with Harold Clouston officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Friday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made in moms name to the charity of your choice or to the world wide witnessing work. We await with hope, the time when we will see her again after the resurrection as promised in John 5:28.29. The conditions promised in Revelation 21:3-5 are our hope for Mom: "And look the tent of God is with mankind, they will be his peoples and God himself will be with them and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more."
