VIRGINIA "TOOTS" COOPER (nee WEBSTER) Peacefully, Friday, June 16, 2000 at the age of 84 years, Virginia Cooper passed away after a lengthy illness. Virginia was born April 8, 1916 in Winnipeg where she was raised and educated. She would later live in Flin Flon and The Pas for many years. Her dream of becoming a veterinarian was unfilled as she chose to help her family and later become a homemaker. Virginia is survived by her sister Doris Eastaugh of Toronto; brothers, Jim, Andy and Dave; sisters-in-law, Ev and Joan, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Ted; her parents, George and Josephine; brothers, Vincent (Molly) and Allen (Phyllis) brother-in-law Walt and sister-in-law Doreen. Special thanks to Glen Webster and Linda Ritlbauer for their many visits and care. Special thanks to Dr. Lynn Stadnyk, everyone at Donwood Manor and the staff of S.I.C.U., St. Boniface Hospital for their care. As she wished, a private family service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St. Winnipeg, Man.
