NORMAN ALBERT PETERSON Norman Albert Peterson born April 17, 1919 passed away on Monday, June 19, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre after a short battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife and best friend, Emily Rose; also his parents and brothers, Ernie and Robert. Norman is survived by his children, Vicki (Lloyd) Engel, Ken (Kathy) Peterson, Linda (Jim) Van Wyk, Carol (Warren) Taylor also grandchildren, Rick (Tricia) Peterson, Dale (Rick) Schaffer, Marcie and Bryan Engel, Joseph and Karen Van Wyk, Cole and Alexis Taylor and great-granddaughter Emily Rose Peterson. Also surviving is his brother Gord (Eleanor) sister Shirley McFeetors; sisters-in-law, Sadie and Elsie; as well as many other sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews. Norman lived his life in the West Kildonan area and spent most of his working career as a mechanic with the airlines, retiring from Canadian Airlines. He touched the lives of many people and was always there to help out whenever he could. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. Special thanks to Sadie, Renie and Gord for all your help during Dads illness. He will be missed by many. Special thank you to the Nurses and staff of 4GH for all of their care.
