GLICERIA OMANA Gliceria passed away peacefully on June 7, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jaime (Leonida) Omana in the Philippines, Victoria (Efren) Remoquillo of Winnipeg and Danilo (Ligaya) Omana also of Winnipeg. She will also be missed by nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other extended family. Gliceria was predeceased by her loving husband Domingo, as well as brothers and sisters. She came to Canada 12 years ago and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she dearly loved. She will be remembered as a very kind and thoughtful woman. Glicerias family would like to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Centre for their kind and compassionate care. Lamay will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 24, 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Church, 818 Arlington St. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
