FRANCES E. BAILEY Passed away Monday, June 19, 2000 at Central Park Lodge. Aunt Frances was the eldest child of Ellen and David Bailey. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Bert Bailey and Jim Bailey; and her sister Margaret Bailey. She is survived by her nieces and nephew, Barbara Ball, Ruth Brodie, Carol Bailey Neidner, Dianne Barkas, Ted Bailey and their families. Frances was a competent and proud professional secretary and was employed for most of her working life with McGabe Grain, where she was the secretary to Mr. Charles Kroft. Her final working years were spent with Cargill Grain. Frances was very independent, thoughtful, and fun to be with. She was a favourite Aunt to her nieces and nephew while they were growing up. An ardent football fan, Fran never missed a "Bomber" game. In her younger days she was active in curling and bowling. She loved a good party, a rousing Board game or card game, weekend visits to the Bailey cottage at Matlock and Christmas family dinners complete with the singing of carols. Frances consistent love throughout her life was for animals of all kinds. Memorial gifts may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
