DOROTHY HELEN EIRICKSON Suddenly, but peacefully at her residence on Monday, June 19, 2000, Dorothy Eirickson, aged 68 years, a lifelong resident of Selkirk, beloved wife of the late Clifford Eirickson. Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Patricia Carter, her son Robert (Colleen) Carter and special grandson Christopher. Dorothy is also survived by her brother Bob (Audrey), nephew Russell and niece Bonnie and their families. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Clifford; her parents, Peter and Josephine Wasnie; and one brother Frank Wasnie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk, MB, with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment to follow in the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery. A special thank you to Bob and Russell Wasnie for their love and ongoing support shown to Mom. As well, many thanks to Sophie Wasnie, Elma Yeo and Lily Wade. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Selkirk Palliative Care Unit or to a charity of ones choice.
