ALBERT JAMES SPENCE Suddenly on Saturday, June 17, 2000 in Thompson, Mr. Albert James Spence, aged 30 years, beloved husband of Marion Spence of Split Lake, Manitoba. Wake services will be held in the Split Lake Community Hall on Tuesday June 20 and Wednesday, June 21. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, with Rev. Larry Beardy officiating. Interment to follow in the Split Lake Cemetery. Albert was born on January 31, 1970 in Fort Churchill, Manitoba. He was a devoted husband and father and spent a lot of time with his children. He enjoyed playing basketball, was very healthy and worked out with weights in his spare time. He was always chirpy and always had a cheerful word for all. Albert was employed with the Tataskweyak First Nation in the water testing department. In the early morning hours of June 17, 2000, Albert was tragically taken from this earth and sadly removed from the lives of those he loved and those who loved him in return. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Marion; three daughters, Jaunita, Leandra and Jaime and one son Kyle. His parents, Albert and Martha Spence; brothers, Lavern (Roma), Peter and Andrew; sisters, Alberteen, Sylvia and Annestine. His grandparents, Joseph and Kaneena Kirkness; his in-laws, Harry and Emily Flett and Caroline Miller; sisters-in-law, Kathy, Ruby (Joseph Fourre), Denise (Bill Ferguson), Louise and Marlene; brothers in-law, Lawrence, Sampson, Percy and Harry plus numerous relatives and friends. Albert was predeceased by his brother Dino; sisters, Veronica and Helen; his uncle John George Spence; auntie Emerine Spence; grandfathers, Andrew Spence and Alec Beardy.
