KOPYTKO It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Peter after a brief illness on Monday, June 19, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. Peter was born on June 30, 1930 in Alonsa where he lived until his passing. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Mary; and a baby brother Kelvin. He will be lovingly remembered by two sisters, Olga (Joe) Horwat, Marge (Leonard) Thompson; one brother, Leonard (Eleanor) Kopytko; nieces, Valerie (Ken), Debby (Martyn), Chony (Tyson), Tiffanee and Janelle; nephew Jason (Diane) great-niece Lisa (Sheldon) great-nephews, Jarrett, Wade and Cody; great-great-niece Kaelyn. He farmed with his parents until their passing and then carried on his own. He enjoyed trapping and had a love for music having played his mouth organ at many talent nights. He was very fond of his nieces and nephews. He was a caring brother and a good friend to all who knew him. Prayers will be held Friday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Dobchuk Funeral Home, McCreary. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Ukrainian Catholic Church, Glenhope, MB. Fr. Michael Tkachuk will be officiating with interment to follow at the Glenhope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your own choice. The family express their thanks to the Health Sciences Centre M.I.C.U. ward. "Thank you for loving and sharing, for giving and for caring. God Bless you and keep you until we meet again."
