DELLA CAROLINE REIMER 1937 - 2000 On June 20, 2000, St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Della Reimer (nee Ballantine), 62 years, of Winnipeg, formerly of the Oakbluff area, went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Harold Reimer of Winnipeg; four daughters, Sherry and Henry Moed of Winnipeg; Carolyn and Blair Johnson of Sanford; Valerie and Terry Kehler of Sanford; Katherine Reimer; one son Blaine Reimer; and chosen daughter Dee Whittaker all of Winnipeg; ten grandchildren; her father Walter Ballantine of Pilot Mound; four sisters; one brother; Harolds three sisters, two brothers and their families. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Ballantine in 1997 and by nephew Clinton Kynoch. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 24, Springstein Mennonite Church, Springstein, Man., 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Abe Reimer officiating. Interment will follow at Sanford Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 1L8.
