ALICE MAZUR Peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2000, with her loving family by her side, Alice Mazur, aged 48, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Barb (Kevin), Richard (Jen) and granddaughter Tayler; her parents, Walter and Wanda Labedz; her sister Teresa (August) Zec and children, Krystine, Edward and Christopher; her sister Barb and children, Adriana and Gregory; and many other relatives and friends. Alice worked for Air Canada for over 25 years where she made many friends. She was a loving and caring person who was cherished by all who knew her. She was always there if you needed her and always had a smile for everyone. Alice often put other people, especially her family, before herself. Alice loved and enjoyed life and the company of others. She had a special fondness for spending time at the lake, particularly when there were many people around her. We will all miss her greatly. Rosary will be said on Saturday, June 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., also at the Church, with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Alices memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
