He was predeceased by his father Guy Lexier. Philip was born in Vancouver and lived all but 18 months of his life in Winnipeg. Phil entered the police force at 18 years of age and dedicated the next 24 years to the City of Winnipeg achieving rank of Det. Sgt., most notably as the architect of the citys Arson Strike Force. Phil will be missed by all who knew him and forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say goodbye, You were gone Philip before we knew it, And only God knows why. We pray that when you left us, That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives Until we meet again. Goodbye, My Love CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
