CORA A. SANDERS With sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Cora Sanders on Thursday, June 22, 2000 at Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish Coras memory are children, Gordon (Linette), and Sylvia (Jim) Graham; grandchildren, David Sanders and Wendy Sanders (Jeff), Paul Graham (Kathy), Laura Prentice (Garry), Patrick Graham (Sandy), and Leanne Drad (Grant) great- grandchildren, Kara, Corrinn, Kristopher, Khylie, Meghan, Cameron, and Mitchell, brother, Albert ODonnell (Gertie) sisters-in-law, Helen ODonnell and Phyllis ODonnell and brother-in-law Dick Smith. Cora was predeceased by her husband Bill. Coras labour of love was her beautiful garden. She was a member of the Horticultural Club in which she won many awards. Cora was talented and creative in many crafts especially sewing, quilting, woodworking, copper etchings, leathers, ceramics, and flower arranging. Family were the recipients of many unique gifts and treasures over the years. These items will always hold special memories. Her artistic talents were also used for fundraising donations by various organizations. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Interment will be in Kirkland Lake, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Coras memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, R3C 0S6 or a charity of choice.
