ERWIN BORCHELD Suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2000, Erwin Borcheld passed away at the age of 78. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Luise; son Bernie; daughters, Barbara (Doug) Kosheluk, Annette (Roger) Pratt; grandchildren, Joanne and Carolyn Kosheluk, Alyssa and Reiss Pratt; brother-in-law August Bartocha; and numerous relatives in Germany. Dad will be greatly missed and fondly remembered here and at his cottage at Long Pine Lake. The family would like to thank the paramedics who attended to Dad and the emergency staff at the Concordia Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from The Mint). Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Erwin may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to Fish Futures.
