ETHEL ELLEN FOLMER On Sunday, June 24, 2000 at the Portage District General Hospital, with her family by her side Ethel Ellen Folmer a life long resident of the Westbourne District, widow of the late Tony Folmer, passed away at the age of 87 years. Funeral service will be held at the St. Georges Anglican Church, Westbourne, on Wednesday, June 28 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at Westbourne Cemetery. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Arnold Anton (Tony) in 1970; three brothers, Jack, Benjamin, Dick, two sisters Grace Hanna and Florence Morgan. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Dena and Chris Beaulieu of Portage; Rose and Roy Anderson of Gladstone; grandchildren, Richard (Diana), Tammy, Kelly, Keith (Judy), Tony (Jane), Lamberdina Beaulieu, Mark and Clint Anderson; great-grandchildren, Erin, Sean, Tyler, Sara, Chad and Curtis. Also surviving is a half brother George Burnell of Portage; four sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Harold) Orchard of MacGregor; Catherine Folmer of Prince Albert, Sask.; Mina Jansen and Anna Folmer of the Netherlands and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday, this evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 0S6. The Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, is in care of the arrangements.
