GEORGE STEWART SKINNER Mr. George Stewart Skinner beloved husband of Willene Skinner of Yorkton and formerly of Roland, Manitoba passed away at his home with his family at his side on Sunday, June 25, 2000. He was 80 years of age. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 28, at 2:00 p.m. from Westview United Church in Yorkton, Sask. The Committal Service will take place on Saturday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roland Fairview Cemetery, Roland, MB. Mr. Skinner was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mabel (nee: Stewart) Skinner; three sisters, Melba Stritch, Doris Gladwin and Diana Mitchell; three brothers, Dalton Skinner, Thomas Skinner and Leonard Skinner. He leaves to celebrate his life his loving wife, Willene Skinner of Yorkton; sons, Leigh (Darlene) Skinner of Medicine Hat, Alta. and Brent (Audrey) Skinner of Edmonton, AB; daughters, Laurene (Gerald) Jemieff of Yorkton, SK and Janice (Mark) Sorestad of Kelowna, BC; grandchildren, Shannon Skinner of Toronto, ON, Belinda (Kevin) Naismith of Cold Lake, AB, Tara (Jerry) Mojelski of Sundre, AB, Stewart (Paula) Skinner of Red Deer, AB, George (Emma) Skinner of Edmonton, AB, Alan Skinner of Toronto, ON, Kathleen Skinner of Vancouver, BC, Reid Jemieff of Yorkton, SK, Diana Jemieff of Yorkton, SK, Joseph, Tomas, and Andrea Sorestad all of Kelowna, BC; great-grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Mojelski, Adam, Arina and Halsey Naismith, Catherine and Andrew Skinner; brothers, Ron (Doris) Skinner of Yorkton, SK, and Chester (Anne) Skinner of Edmonton, AB; sisters, Jessie Whiteney of Vancouver, BC and Noreen Bryant of Kamloops, B.C.; sisters-in-law, Shirley Skinner of Red Deer, AB, Olga Skinner of Emerson, MB and brother-in-law John Stritch of Anaheim, California as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
