LYALL HEWITT IRVING It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing away of Lyall on Sunday, June 25, 2000 at the Grace Hospital after suffering from a stroke. Now he is at rest. Lyall is survived by his loving wife Margaret, of 48 years; children, Robert and his girlfriend Sharon, Raymond and his daughter Taylor, Richard and his partner Mitch, Ronald and his wife Terry with their children, Jenny, Jessie and Jarod; Cheryl and her husband Art, with their children, Angie and Arthur; Shelly and her husband Barry, with their children, Sherry, Crissy, and Edward. He is survived by one great-granddaughter Alana; his sisters, Loreen and family of Winnipeg, and Alma and family of Brandon; and numerous friends, relatives and cousins. Lyall is also survived by Sara and her children, Justine and Raymond of Kap, ON. The family wish to thank the staff on the 5th floor of the Grace Hospital for their care in making Lyall as comfortable as possible during his last days. Special thank you is also extended to Shirley Fillion, Joyce McKay, and Clarisa. Thank you to all for your encouragement and compassion. If friends wish to send floral tributes to the family, please address them to the funeral home, at 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral services for Lyall will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
