EDOUARD LAMBERT Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 27, 2000, Edouard Lambert passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 85 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Raymond (Simone) and their children, Rachelle (Peder) Marstad, and Marc; Suzanne (Wayne) Nicoll and their children, Michelle (Larry) Holcroft and Scott; Rita (Danny) Vande Vyvere and their children, Cindy, Dawn (Lino) Zifarelli, Rhonda and Steven. He also leaves his great-granddaughters, Megan and Allie Holcroft as well as his brother Wilfred (Annette) and his sister Lea Page. Edouard was predeceased by his wife Denise in 1998. He was also predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. Edouard worked for CNR shops in Transcona for 27 years, retiring in 1975. Upon his retirement he and Denise took up residence at the Chalet Malouin and enjoyed spending time at their cottage in St. Malo. Edouards greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Edouard will be held at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, Man. on Friday, June 30. Father Joseph Choiselat will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Health Sciences Centre Intensive Care Unit, St. Pierre Hospital and the homecare workers for the excellent care they provided.
