MADELINE GEISEL Peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2000, Mom passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 83 years. Mom was pre-deceased by her husband Conrad in 1970; son Ronald in 1967; daughter- in-law Sylvia in 1991; her parents, three brothers and by two sisters. She is survived by her daughter Berenice Keryluk (Larry) son George Geisel; daughter Margaret Kidd and son Ken Geisel (Lori). Grandma will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Krista and Daniel Keryluk and Gregory, Ronda, Georgia and Stephen Geisel. Also remaining are her sisters-in-law, Barbara Biette, Eleanor Geisel and Kay Scarth and son-in-law to be, Peter Kennedy, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A private family Mass was celebrated in St. Josephs (German) Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St., on Tuesday, June 27, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Fr. Diosdado Parrenas, who presided. Interment followed in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the homecare staff, especially Isabel Read for all of her help over the years and to the wonderful staff on the East Wing - third floor of the Riverview Health Centre for making Moms short stay so comfortable. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 2B7.
