Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE JOHANN PAULSON July 2, 1937 - June 27, 2000 Suddenly on Tuesday, June 27, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital. Born and raised in Winnipegosis, MB. Youngest son of Joe and Sarah Paulson. After graduating from Winnipegosis High School, he did a short stint in the Navy. Worked at Massey Harris and Standard Aero, then left to apprentice in the Electrical Trade. He worked as an electrician with various companies until 1975, when he was seriously injured at work. He purchased land and located his home in Balmoral, MB 1975, where he lived until moving to Winnipeg in 1996 due to health problems. He made many new friends and enjoyed visiting at the Edgewood Estates apartment coffee shop. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Irvin, Gestur and Vernon. Survived by his brother Dallas (Jean) and sister Olga Stoneman (Jack) and sister-in-law Margaret. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who thought the world of their uncle. Les was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 215. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Pastor Barry Rasmussen will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to the ALS Society in memory of Les. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
