RICHARD GEORGE KOSHELUK MAY 7, 1958 - JUNE 28, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Rick Kosheluk. Rick was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario and attended St. Thomas School and Churchill High. In 1977, Rick moved to Winnipeg and began a career with the tribute band, Free Ride. He was the original bass player with the group and remained with them for 23 years, up to his passing. Rick is survived by his brother Robert and sister-in-law Josie and nieces, Nicole and Katie; plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Stan and Irene and his brother Jackie. He will be sadly missed by everyone in the music industry, especially those he has performed with over the years and particularly, by the members of Free Ride, Wayne Hlady, Dave Wright, Jose Cortes, Billy Lane and Manager, Terry Morris; all the staff at Morris Entertainment and his girlfriend Janice. A Memorial Service will be held at the Norwood Hotel, Tuesday, July 4, 2000 at 11:30 a.m.
