Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN FAITH (FAYE) MARY SLATER (nee CRAIGIE) Suddenly on June 30, 2000, surrounded by her family, Faye Slater passed away at Victoria Hospital. Left to remember and love her are her husband Tom of 35 years; her daughter Shelley Ames (Christopher) and grandson Indiana of Calgary; daughter Tannis Charette (Marc) parents Jim and Eileen Craigie; sisters Diane Sinnock (Jack), Nancy Sharman (Doug) brother Jim Craigie; and favourite companion Kori. She also leaves to cherish her memory, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Faye was born in Winnipeg on July 30, 1943 and spent her entire life in St. Vital. Her family meant the world to her and she will be remembered for her giving spirit and great love for her children. She was always on the sidelines cheering them on or helping to organize dance recitals. As well, Faye was always very much involved in the community. She was very proud of her volunteer work at St. George School when her daughters were young. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, at Christ the King Church. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of their choice in Fayes memory.
