JANINA CZOSNEK (nee MAKARUK) Janina Czosnek, aged 54 years, beloved mother of Dorothy and Mark, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, June 29, 2000. She also leaves to mourn her grandson Ethan and his father Dave; brother Kaz and wife Anna; nieces, Maggie Hay (Kevin) and their child Morgan Hay, Janina Tomczyk and her family, Maria Zlobicki and her family, Elzbieta Glowala; nephews, Mark Makaruk, Adam Glowala (Jolanta) as well as several relatives and friends; and her coffee partner Mildren Kozyniak. Her two dogs Taffy and Smokey will miss Janina dearly. She was predeceased by her husband Ted; her parents, Maria and Vincent. Janina was born in Poland May 6, 1946 and came to Canada in 1969. She was employed at All Canadian Emblems until her illness forced her to quit. She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend and the family will dearly miss her. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Health Sciences Centre, for all their care, kindness and compassion. Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 4 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating.
