Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNADETTE CHENIER (nee MORIER) Peacefully, at home in her sleep, Bernadette Chenier (auntie Dedette) passed away on July 1, 2000 at the age of 91. Mom was predeceased by her husband Adelard in 1955, and her daughter Yvonne, age 1 and a half years. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her three daughters, Edmee (Lucien) Leclair, Claire and Cecile (Warren) Clearwater; her two sons, Marcel and Claude (Ginny) her grandchildren, Robert (Tiffany) Leclair, Monique (Brian) Kiene, Nicole Leclair, Karen and Jeff Clearwater, Tom and Cam Chenier; her great grandchildren, Danielle Leclair, Graham and Julia Kiene; her many nieces and nephews, and our special friend, Betty Man. Her family was everything to her; however auntie Dedette was a mother to everyone. Her door was always open and nothing gave her greater pleasure than the visit of family and friends. Memere was a very religious person. In her quiet way, she spent many hours in prayer for whoever was in need. During her last year, in spite of poor vision and failing health, she could still carry on her telephone ministry. Prayer vigil will take place on Wednesday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. in Precieux Sang Church, 200 Kenny Street, with Rev. Fr. Marcel Chaput presiding. Visitation on Thursday will be one half hour prior to the mass. Interment will follow in St. Boniface cemetery. Les prieres seront recitees a 19h30 le mercredi 5 juilliet a la chapelle P. Coutu, 156 rue Marion. La messe de la Resurrection sera celebre en leglise du Precieux Sang, 200 rue Kenny le jeudi 6 juilliet a 10h30. Le service sera preside par M. lAbbe Marcel Chaput. Le visionnement aura lieu une demie heure avant la messe. Linhumation suivra au cimitiere de Saint - Boniface. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. P.
