DORIS (THEODOSIA) PARADIS (nee Stefankiw) On Friday, June 30, 2000, Doris passed away in the Concordia Hospital at the age of 78 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Paradis. Doris is survived by her loving family: her children, Grant (Laurie), Wayne (Jayne), Brock (Shelly), Sandra (Jim) and Sharon; grandchildren: Mark, Lisa, Steven, Michael, Catherine, Blake and Chantal; her brothers and sisters: John (Mary), Rose, Mary (Walter) and Helen (Metro) by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: George (Vicky), Louis, Jack, Frank, Ethel (Dan), Joyce, Muriel, Madeline, Lena (George) and Frances and by many nieces and nephews. Born in the Ukraine, Doris came with he parents to Canada in 1924 at the age of three. The family settled in Saskatchewan and Doris started to work at 15 years of age. She married Ernest Paradis on July 18, 1953. Doris was employed as a cook in Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Manitoba before retiring in 1976. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. The funeral service will follow the prayers. Rev.
