IRIS ANN PANAGAPKO Suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2000 at the family cottage on Lake Manitoba. Iris, beloved wife and mother, will be dearly missed by husband Lawrence; daughter Candace of Surrey, BC, and mother Olga Stasiuk of Winnipeg. Predeceased by infant brother Jim in 1939 and father Mike on June 17, 2000. Iris was born on February 13, 1942 at Vita, MB, raised and educated at Rainy River, ON and moved to Fort Frances, ON in 1955. Upon her graduation in 1958 she was employed by the Boise Cascade Paper mill. She married Lawrence on September 5, 1964, and moved to Winnipeg in 1977. Iris was baptized as of one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1950 at an International Assembly in New York. She enjoyed many years of faithful service to Jehovah sharing the bibles hope of Gods kingdom arrangement for a paradise earth where "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."Rev. 21:3,4. Iris was well known and loved for her warm, kind, loving personality, always giving of herself on behalf of others and for this her presence will be missed; not just by few, but by many. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovahs Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd. at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 with Milt Brown officiating.
