HELEN HAIDISH It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife and mother, Helen Haidish, on July 1, 2000. Helen will be missed by her husband of 54 years, Frank and her daughter Christine Ranick. She will be greatly missed by her dear granddaughter Wendy (Rick) of Guildford, England and special grandson Jay, they were the light of her life. She will also be missed by five nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Nell and Isabel and her brother Walter. Helen was a caring person who unselfishly nurtured and cared for all the members of her family. Helen was an avid reader; in lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made in her memory to the Winnipeg Public Library (St. Johns Branch). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
