MARIE YVONNE BUSBY (nee HENAULT) Peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2000, in the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Marie Yvonne Busby, aged 70 years of Winnipeg, Man. Yvonne was born in Ratcliffe, Sask. on May 5, 1930. She finished her high school in Forget, Sask. She moved to Winnipeg around 1950 where she took a course at The Success Business College. Her first job after college was working in the University of Manitoba and secondly she worked in Winnipeg at the CP Telegraph Office, where she met Boyd Busby, later she was transferred to Brandon, Man., where she continued to work at the CP Telegraph Office. While living in Brandon Yvonne Henault and Boyd Busby were married on June 14, 1955. Later on October 14, 1962 their daughter Leslie was born and in 1974 Boyds job brought the family to Winnipeg, where they lived until her passing. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Boyd of 45 years; her daughter Leslie and grandchild Andrew. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marie and by her brother Arthur. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the Windsor Park Christian Community church, 365 Westmount Dr., Winnipeg, on Thursday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lorne Meisner officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man., R3A 1M5. A special thanks to Dr.s. Shah, Hobson and Campbell and the nursing staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and care given to Yvonne.
