FRANKLIN July 22, 1907 - June 30, 2000 Predeceased by wife, Helen Marie, 1979; brothers, Arthur and Paul Franklin and half sister, Margaret (Wills) Heywood; half brother, James Wills and grandson, David Poruchny. He is survived by daughter, Helen Joyce (Frank) Poruchny, Parksville, BC; grandchildren, Douglas, Donald Poruchny, Catherine (Phil) McLay, Thomas and Mark Poruchny and nine great-grandchildren; his half sisters, Marian Jones, Winifred Moule and Alice Waddell. Seymour was employed by C.N.R. Transcona Man. Shops for 43 years, retiring in 1968. Seymour served as a Petty Officer Shipwright RCNVR during the Second World War, 1943 to 1945. Residing in Winnipeg until 1979 when he moved to Prince George, B.C. Many thanks to Dr. C. Fraser, staff on fourth floor P.G.R.H. and Jubilee Lodge. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7 at 1:30 p.m. from Assmans Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lance Morgan officiating. Cremation Fraserview Crematorium.
