LORRAINE ELDA FLOCKTON (nee JACKISON) It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Lorraine Elda Flockton who passed away from a lengthy fight with cancer. She leaves behind her husband of 46 years Ralph; her sisters, Arlene Crawford of Dauphin, Betty Cook of London, ON, (Bud (Victor) Jackson of Maple Ridge, BC; her daughter Wendy; grandsons, Jeff, Joel and T.J.; her daughter Pat; grandson Wes; cousins, Bill Thompson, Glen, Cathy, Bill and Shirley. She also leaves her nieces and nephews and cherished friends, Shirley, May and Mike. There are many, many more wed love to mention so we thank you all for your help in caring, visiting and loving her. She dedicated 25 years of her life to Girl Guides of Canada reaching her goal of Divisional Commissioner of Manitoba. She was also involved with Welcome Wagon. Lorraine was well-known everywhere she went. For all the time I laughed I laughed with you. For all the times I cried I cried with you. For all the love I had I shared with you. So deep is my loss. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers we would like to suggest a donation to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
