Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN-MARIE NORMAND Peacefully, after a prolonged illness on Thursday, July 6, 2000, Jean Normand passed away with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margurite; and his brother Marcel. He will be sadly missed by his wife of nearly 45 years, Florence; his daughters, Gisele (Marcel) Lavigne, and Rita (Luc) Vandal; grandchildren, Mary Lavigne and Cory and Ryan Vandal; his two brothers, Roland and Rudolphe; five sisters, Reine-Aimee Lupky (Alex), Bibiane Normand, Priscilla Normand (George), Diane Zaparnuiak (Len) and Cecilia Hermary (Richard) and many nieces and nephews. Jean was employed with Stanchem as shipper/receiver for 24 years, retiring in 1990. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses whom cared for him through his time of need. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Mint). Fr. Marcel Toupin officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Manitoba Division), 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
