Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED (SMOKEY) LUCIER (FREDDY) January 30, 1941 - July 6, 2000 It is with regret and heavily saddened hearts that we said goodbye to our beloved companion, dad, brother, uncle and friend Frederick Eugene Lucier on Thursday, July 6, 2000, at 5:50 a.m. at the Eriksdale Hospital. His last rites were given by Father Kamath. Fred was born January 30, 1941, in Lundar, Man. He was the oldest son of the late Alex and Julia Lucier. Fred was also predeceased by his sister Doreen Howard in September 1999. Fred will be mourned and lovingly remembered by his companion Marilyn and her family; his son Lymen, who was his pride and joy; his sisters, Jean and Rita; his brothers, Dave, Ken, Edward, Roy and Edwin; his brother-in-law Darwin Howard of Calgary, Alta. and all their families. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Fred attended school in Deerhorn and Eriksdale, he had a great sense of humour. His family and friends were very important people in his life. Fred worked for various construction companies, he was employed by Sigfusson Northern before his demise. He enjoyed having coffee with buddies at Chicken Chef, fiddle music, his pets, playing bingo and listening to Lymens favourite music. To Uncle Smokey: Thank you for your unending love, kindness and patience with us all our life. We will always love you and surely miss you. Love all your nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 10, at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. Jim Anderson will be officiating. Interment to follow at the Abbeville Cemetery.
