NELSON FREDERICK HENRY GREEN Nelson passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2000. He was born in Wpg. on April 5, 1910 to Frank and Margaret Green. Nelson had a thirst for knowledge and a love of the English and French languages. He loved his home, family, gardening, hunting and fishing. A gentleman, hell always be remembered for his humor and wit and OH... that handshake! Nelson was predeceased by his wife Gudrun; grandson Steven; his parents; brothers, Victor, Horace and Lawrence and sisters, Mabel, Ada, Ida and Jessie. Left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Louise Kane (Warren) of Pine Falls, Man., Kathy Green of Wpg., Linda Foley of Wpg. and Marilyn Fruhm (Hermann) of Coquitlam, B.C. Also mourning his passing are his sister Josephine of Halifax, N.S. and his grandchildren, Jeff and Wes Kane, Lana and Christa Foley, Clayton Green, Alicia and Christian Fruhm. Flowers are gratefully declined but those who wish may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Wpg. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St.,774-7474. Nelsons family wishes to thank Dr. A. W. Alvi and the nursing staff at Riverview Health Care Centre for their very loving care of Nelson over the past few years.
