Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE (GARRY) HEIHS On Friday, July 7, 2000, at the Grace Hospital, Alice (Garry) Heihs passed away. Those who knew Alice (Garry) will remember her for her big heart, her love of nature and her love of animals, especially her dogs Tanya and Tobie. Alice (Garry) is survived by loving husband Sigi; her daughter Shirley Price from Toronto and grandson Adam; sister Sarah Brandson; brother Herbie Garrioch and many relatives. She will be sadly missed by her good friends and neighbours, and her fellow parishioners at St. Chads Anglican Parish. Alice (Garry) was born in Kinosota, Man. on May 12, 1925, moved east and worked as a department head for Morgans, which eventually was taken over by the Hudsons Bay Company. Alice (Garry) met Sigi in Montreal, married and later moved to Winnipeg in 1985. In Winnipeg, Alice (Garry) and Sigi enjoyed their excursions to the country to experience the beauty and solitude of nature. Alice (Garry) also enjoyed her association with her bowling friends from Polo Park and the Village Inn Wednesday Early Risers. A private family burial will be held at St. Bedes Cemetery in Kinosota, Man. on Tuesday, July 11. A service will be held in her memory at St. Chads Anglican Parish, Rouge Road and Portage Avenue on Wednesday, July 12 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Greg Clark, Parish Priest, officiating.
