DON WM. BROWN Passed away Sunday, July 9, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre with his loving family at his side. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Barbara; children, Millie (Walter) Fey, Elaine (Lloyd) Rach, and Thomas and Kevin Brown; brother Bob; sisters, Annie Stone and Marion (Fred) Crossland; nephew Eddie; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Don was predeceased by his parents. Don was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was well-liked by all who knew him. He enjoyed volunteering at the community centre and with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada. Favourite hobbies included stamp collecting, coin collecting and bowling. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13 in the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from The Mint). Interment, Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Marr and staff of E wing at the Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dons memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or to a charity of your choice.
