The family has appreciated so much the kindness and the attention of the caring staff there. Mom was a widow for over 50 years. Her husband, Malcolm, predeceased her in 1950. "Vic" is survived by her two beloved sons, Ken and Bob, along with their wives, Halina and Dawn. They were the light of her life; she was always so proud of them. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Bill (Mary Ann), David (Petra), Duane (Rose), Jane (Jerry), Yvonne (Doug), Brenda (Dave) and Blair, as well as by ten great-grandchildren; a dear sister Eva Bowman; sisters-in-law, Ada and Hazel Lyons and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. "Vic" was born in Griswold, Man. in 1903 and was a teacher by nature and by profession, as well as an athlete in her younger years. She loved the church and gave unstintingly of her time and energy as long as she was able, having been a member of Harrow United Church since the 1940s. She was a good mom and her life will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12 at the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with the Reverend Clark Saunders officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harrow United Church Memorial Fund, 955 Mulvey Avenue, Winnipeg, Man., R3M 1G8. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
